The 2026 Belgian Disc Golf Championships took place on Sunday, May 31, at Parc Bourdon in Braine-l'Alleud, bringing together the country's best players to compete for the most prestigious national titles of the season. Hosted by the Braine Disc Golf Club and organized as part of the Belgian National Tour, the championship featured two rounds of competition on the renowned Parc Bourdon layout and attracted a field of 65 players across multiple divisions.

Parc Bourdon has long been one of the most important venues in Belgian disc golf, regularly hosting national-level tournaments and championship events. Its mix of open fairways, technical wooded holes, and strategic risk-reward opportunities once again provided a worthy test for the players battling for national glory.

In the MPO division, Janwit Changsura claimed his first Belgian Championship title. After years of establishing himself among the country's strongest competitors, Changsura delivered when it mattered most and emerged as the new Belgian Champion in the premier division.

The FPO title went to Janne Tys, who successfully defended her position as Belgium's leading female player and added another national championship to her résumé.

In the age-protected divisions, Olivier Begon captured the MP40 title, continuing his long-standing presence among Belgium's elite players. Michel Bigneron secured the MP50 championship, while Olivier Cassart earned the MP60 crown after a strong performance throughout the day.

The future of Belgian disc golf was also on display in the junior divisions. Pierrot-Dang Baume became the Belgian Champion in MJ15, highlighting the continued growth of youth participation in the sport.

The Belgian Disc Golf Commission congratulates all champions, podium finishers, and participants for making the 2026 Belgian Championships a memorable event. A special thank you goes to the tournament staff, volunteers, and the Braine Disc Golf Club for their work in preparing and hosting another successful national championship.

With the national titles now decided, attention turns back to the remainder of the Belgian National Tour season, where players will continue competing for points, victories, and a place among Belgium's best.
